Pittsfield Township Historical Society, established February 14, 2008, is organized exclusively for charitable, scientific, and educational purposes as recognized within Section 501 (c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code, including for such purposes as:

A.)  To collect and preserve historical information, data, documents, artwork , writings, artifacts and the like pertaining to Pittsfield Township, Ohio and its residents;

B.)   To educate the public about historical events, topics, and figures related to Pittsfield Township, Ohio;

C.)   To receive gifts and grants and make distributions thereof for purposes and activities that qualify as exempt under Section 501 (c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code or the corresponding provision of any future federal tax code.  

Board members consist of a President, Secretary, Treasurer and 5 other board members all belonging to various committees therein.

                                Pittsfield Township Historical Society is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization.
